坐落于东京都文京区的根津神社，是一座历史悠久的古社，相传由日本武尊（Yamato Takeru no Mikoto）于一千九百多年前创建。现今的社殿为1706年（宝永3年）在第五代将军德川纲吉时期营建，包括本殿、币殿、拜殿、唐门、西门、透篱、楼门等七座建筑，均被指定为日本的重要文化财。作为江户时代权现造建筑的杰作，其历史与文化价值备受认可。境内的乙女稻荷神社以成排的朱漆千本鸟居营造出梦幻氛围。此外，春季这里也是“文京杜鹃花祭”的舞台，约3,000株、100个品种的杜鹃花竞相绽放，四季的自然之美令人沉醉。

开创700周年纪念特别展“大德寺：日本无双之禅苑”
